There is a rich tradition of giving that has been at the heart of Peninsula School’s values since its founding in 1925. Generations of Peninsula families have given of their time, talents, and financial resources. Thanks to our generous community, Peninsula continues to be the very special place that it is today. We are deeply grateful.

Financial Gifts

Every year there are opportunities to make meaningful financial gifts that support Peninsula School Now and For the Future.

Ten percent of Peninsula’s annual operating budget is covered through fundraising. These tax-deductible contributions allow us to provide our exemplary programs that are responsive to the interests and needs of students. They provide the funding necessary for staff salaries, benefits, and professional development, and for maintenance of our beautiful buildings and grounds. In addition, these funds enable us to maintain Peninsula’s long-standing commitment to equal access by providing tuition assistance to 25% of our students.

  • ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN (AGC)
Our Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) kicks off in November.
This is the one area of giving where we ask everyone to participate—the Board, staff, current families, and our wider community. We ask that every Peninsula family makes our Annual Giving Campaign their highest giving priority. Typically, AGC participation is between 95– 100%, which is a powerful reflection of our community’s commitment to the school.

  • Peninsula School invites you to make a gift that will support the school’s long-term financial health and ensure the rich tradition of a Peninsula education for generations of students to come.  Gifts can be made through Planned Gifts that name Peninsula School as a beneficiary of your will, charitable trust, retirement account, or life insurance policy.  The Eighth Grade Commemorative Fund is an endowed fund created exclusively for families of graduating eighth graders to honor their child’s Peninsula journey.  The Peninsula School Endowment & Trust Fund provides a permanent trust fund that will grow over the years and furnishes a broad financial base for the support of Peninsula School.

  • Peninsula is also supported by our incredible parent and guardian association, POP. Each year, POP helps to raise funds that provide ~$40-$50K toward our current operating budget. These funds are raised through a variety of fundraising activities and events, primarily our Craft Fair and Spring Fair. The Development Office works closely with POP to help achieve these goals.

  • Parent participation is an enduring part of the Peninsula experience. Whether it is volunteering for the parent-led events—Craft Fair, Community Celebration, and the Spring Fair—or the myriad other volunteer opportunities, parental involvement is a fundamental part of what defines the school.

Peninsula places enormous value on the gift of time. Our support of each other not only provides a nourishing environment for our children, it also forms a healthy community that is at the heart of Peninsula. All families are encouraged to find ways to become engaged in a meaningful way, not only to assist the school but also to enrich their own parent experience.
