Summer at Peninsula

Yes! Students from outside the Peninsula School Community are invited to register and attend Summer at Peninsula. However, summer preschool is only open to currently enrolled Peninsula preschool students, including those starting preschool in the fall.

Cancellations on or before May 1st will receive a refund minus a 25% administrative fee. Cancellations made after May 1st are non-refundable.

Summer at Peninsula fees are not prorated based on attendance days or weeks. If you register for a session or class, you must pay the full listed cost for that selection even if your child attends only part of the time.

Children enrolled in Summer at Peninsula can also enroll in extended care from 3 - 5:30p.m. for an additional fee. This operates separately from summer classes and requires additional registration. Summer childcare is only open to Summer at Peninsula participants.

There is no drop-in for our summer childcare, preschool, or daily programs.

Our staff is unable to administer daily medications and does not employ a qualified nurse and/or other medical professional on staff. Please administer daily medications to your child before or after camp, or come to campus during camp hours if necessary. If your child requires medication on an as-needed basis, please discuss this with the camp directors in advance to verify we can accommodate the medical need. Medications must be brought in original packaging, including instructions for administering. Teachers and directors must be made aware of the medication, and you must also add information about these medications to your child’s emergency contact/medical information form.

If space allows, we will make every effort to accommodate one complimentary schedule change. Please note there will be a $35 administrative fee for any additional changes. 

Summer at Peninsula classes are staffed primarily by year-round teaching staff and Peninsula School alumni who previously trained as summer interns. Summer staff offer invaluable insights into the campus, model Peninsula’s culture of care and respect, and bring beloved traditions - like edging and uniquely Peninsula games - to life, ensuring children are safe, supported, and free to build joyful, lasting summer memories.

No, we generally do not provide food for summer participants. Children should bring their own packed lunches, snacks, and water bottles.
