Did you realize that of our three parent events, our annual Spring Fair is by far our largest and best opportunity to build and strengthen ties to local surrounding communities? Our Fair has grown throughout the years and now typically draws from 1,500 - 2,000 people, yet has managed to retain a spirit of camaraderie and intimacy that Fairgoers and volunteers alike both cherish and really enjoy. But larger crowds have lead to higher costs: Fair expenses typically average around $15,000!
While "friend-raising" is the primary aim, the Spring Fair is also a fund-raiser and reducing expenses means there'll be more funds available to benefit the students of Peninsula School. To that end, we are asking if your family could help underwrite this year's expenses.
We've included a scaled down version of our master shopping list for inspiration: perhaps you'd like to help us pay for the 21 flats of organic strawberries used to make our famous strawberry shortcake? Or help us pay for 50 lemons, it does make a difference. Every donation no matter how small will help!
You can download a Donation Form that makes it easy
to help: you may charge a donation, or pay with cash or by check.
Richard will provide receipts for tax purposes. Simply complete
the form (forms are also available in the office) and drop it in
the "Spring Fair Drop Box" in the office, hand it to me
at school, or mail it to me:

If you donate $150 or more, your family will receive free entrance
to the Fair, $75 of which is tax-deductible.
The great food, crafts, and entertainment and the strength of our
collective commitment to the Spring Fair is what makes this event
successful year after year. Thanks for considering being an underwriter
for the Fair!
