PENINSULA SCHOOL (home)
The dynamic principle of fantasy is play, which belongs also to the child, and as such it appears to be inconsistent with the principle of serious work. But without this playing with fantasy no creative work has every yet come to birth. The debt we owe to the play of imagination is incalculable.
Carl Gustav Jung

Summer at Peninsula School

Peninsula School, located on six wooded acres in Menlo Park, California, offers a fun and exciting Summer School program for children ages 5-13. The six week period runs from Monday, June 23, through Friday, August 1, 2008. Both morning and afternoon classes are available. Morning classes meet daily; afternoon classes are two, three or five days a week. Session I is June 23 - July 11. Session II is July 14 - August 1.

The Summer School brochure with all the class listings and fees, information about the program, and enrollment application is available by mail or may be picked up in the office. The brochure is not available electronically. Please contact us by mail at 920 Peninsula Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, or by telephone at 650-325-1584 x39, or by email at summer@peninsulaschool.org.

Classes fill up quickly and space is limited. Applications may be turned in at any time and we encourage prospective Summer School students to turn them in as early as possible. All applications are processed in the order received. Enrollment priority is given to currently enrolled Peninsula students (priority ends on March 11), returning Summer School students (priority ends on March 13), and siblings of returning students (priority ends on March 18). We continue to receive applications and enroll students in classes where space is available up to the first day of each session.
