Parent participation and support sit at the very heart of our school and our values. Whether your family receives financial aid or makes the single largest financial gift to the school in any given year, the giving and volunteer opportunities at Peninsula are designed to allow everyone to contribute in meaningful ways. The work that we do as a community and the way in which we do it not only financially supports our teachers and our classrooms but also plays a key role in teaching our kids some of the values we cherish most – respect, responsibility, collaboration, community involvement, and celebration in a job well done!

We need every parent at the school to volunteer and get involved.

Guidelines for Your Involvement

- Help in some way with all three major parent events every year:

- Give what you consider to be a valuable and significant contribution of your time; a commitment you can definitely uphold
- Consider your other time commitments and choose volunteer roles that work with your other commitments
- Encourage participation among other parents, and especially help support parents who are new to the community

If you would like to find out more about parent events and/or how to join the Parent Involvement Committee, you can contact the Parent Event Coordinators (listed in the School Directory), your class representative, or a member of the office staff.
