In June, 2008, Peninsula School completed
the third and final phase of a special fundraising campaign called
Peninsula Partners for the Future. Through this campaign we raised
nearly $450,000 to support special projects throughout the school,
which otherwise could not have been funded through our regular operating
budget. Thanks to the generosity of our donors we were able to:
- Add laptop computers & other technology
tools to the upper school
- Renovate the math room
- Expand the science program
- Complete Phase I of the auditorium renovation
- Research improvements to the driveway
- Implement several energy retrofitting projects
- Create a special fund to support successful teacher transitions,
as many long-time teachers prepare to retire.
If you would like to help us celebrate the
successful completion of this campaign and/or would like to find
out more about how the monies raised are being used to benefit our
students and our school, we invite you to attend the PPF
Closing Celebration Event taking place at Peninsula School
on October 15th from 11 AM – 1:30
PM. Everybody is welcome to attend, but space is
limited. So, if you plan to join us, we request that you
